The Ministry of Energy of Romania has launched a €458m call for the development of around 950 MW of wind and solar projects, with or without integrated storage facilities, under Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). Most of the funds (€383m) will be directed to projects above 1 MW (which will receive up to €650,000/MW for wind projects and up to €425,000/MW for solar projects), and the remaining €75m will be directed to projects between 200 kW and 1 MW (which will receive up to €1.3m/MW for wind projects and up to €750,000/MW for solar projects), with a maximum aid of €15m per project per company. Bids have to be submitted by 31 May 2022. The selected projects will have to be commissioned by the end of the second quarter of 2024 at the latest.
