NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL), an affiliate of the Indian state-owned power utility NTPC, is seeking bids for a balance of system (BoS) package with land for 1 GW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar projects to be set up anywhere in India. The scope of work comprises identification, acquisition, and transfer of ownership or lease of land in favour of NTPC Renewable Energy. In addition, successful bidders will also be tasked with the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packaging, forwarding, transporting, unloading, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects, excluding solar modules supply. The projects quoted by a single bidder will have to range between 50 MW and 600 MW (increasing by multiples of 10 MW). Bids will have to be submitted by 3 February 2022.
