Nordex will provide turbines for 475 MW Nysäter wind project (Sweden)

German wind turbine manufacturer has signed a turnkey agreement for the 475 MW Nysäter onshore wind park project in Sweden, which is currently under construction. It will supply and install 104 N149/4.0-4.5 turbines and 10 N131/3900 turbines for the project and also signed a two-year service contract with the German company E.ON, who will build and operate the wind park under a long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) agreement. The turbine installation will start in March 2020 and the project is slated for completion by the end of 2021.

Nysäter will include two project sites in the Västernorrland region of Sweden, namely “Hästkullen” and “Björnlandhöjden”. It is Nordex's largest order to date for the N149/4.0-4.5 of its Delta4000 series turbines.

E.ON unveiled the project in November 2018. The €500m wind park will be developed by the Swiss investment manager Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners (80%) and E.ON (20%).
