The Malaysian state-owned energy company PETRONAS, through its subsidiary PETRONAS LNG Ltd., has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with CNOOC Gas and Power Singapore Trading & Marketing. for the supply of 1 Mt/year of LNG (PETRONAS press release, 24/12/2025). The duration and value of the SPA remain undisclosed.
In 2021, PETRONAS also entered into a 10-year LNG supply agreement with a subsidiary of CNOOC, committing to the supply of 2.2 Mt/year (PETRONAS press release, 07/07/2021).
