The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur or BNetzA) has released the results of the latest tenders for ground-mounted solar projects larger than 750 kW, with a bidding date set for 1 March 2022. The auction for 1,108 MW of capacity attracted 209 bids totalling 1,116 MW of capacity, with prices ranging from €4.05c/kWh to €5.55c/kWh (weighted average of €5.19c/kWh, compared to €5.00c/kWh in the previous round). 201 bids totalling 1,084 MW were selected, including 106 bids totalling 488 MW in Bavaria.
In addition, the state agency selected 56 bids totalling 68 MW in a tender for biomass projects on buildings larger than 330 kW with an auctioned volume of 275 MW that attracted 76 bids totalling 81 MW. Bid prices ranged between €12.18c/kWh and €18c/kWh (average of €15.75c/kWh).
