The French Ministry of Ecological Transition has released the results of the tenth round of the CRE4 tender scheme for ground-mounted solar projects with a proposed quota of 700 MW. 80 projects totalling 637 MW were selected at an average final price of €5.7c/kWh (-3% compared to the previous tender of the same kind). In the first category, which comprises ground-mounted PV projects exceeding 5 MW in size, the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) allocated 440 MW, at an average final price of €5.23c/kWh. In the second category, including ground-mounted PV projects with a capacity between 500 kW and 5 MW, the allocated capacity was 112 MW and the final average price stood at €6.34c/kWh. The third category comprises PV projects on parking shades: the allocated capacity was 35 MW and the final average price €8.22c/kWh.
