Entergy did not unveil the amounts of the investments but they could reach as much as US$1bn.
Entenrgy Texas is a subsidiary of the US utility Entergy Corporation. Entergy owns and operates power plants with a combined capacity of about 30 GW, of which 9 GW of nuclear power. It is currently seeking to develop its portfolio of gas-fired assets.
