ENGIE introduces new organisation as of 1 January 2016

ENGIE (ex-GDF SUEZ) has set up a new organizational strategy in place since 1 January 2016, as part of its enterprise project announced in April 2015: the Group is now made up of 24 business units created to better serve the territories, 5 ''Métiers'' in charge of specific fields of expertise (namely Gas chain, Centralised production of electricity, Decentralised solutions for cities and territories, Solutions for businesses and Solutions for residentials and professionals) and supporting the development of the Business Units, and a new head office to ensure the global cohesion.

Activities will be organised through five global business units, namely Exploration and Production International, Global LNG, Global Energy management, Tractebel Engineering and GTT. Eight business units will focus on France (B to B, B to C, Renewable Energy, Networks, Natural gas transport (GRTgaz), Natural gas distribution (GRDF), LNG terminals (Elengy) and natural gas storage (Storengy). In addition, eleven business units will be focused on regional operations: Generation Europe, Benelux, UK, North South and Eastern Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America, Brazil, Middle East South and Central Asia and Turkey, China, and Asia Pacific.
