NDCs, long-term scenarios and emissions reduction strategies for the Swedish Energy Agency

Enerdata was recently awarded a new contract with the Swedish Energy Agency (SEA). We will inform its International Climate Cooperation department about most recent developments in energy markets worldwide and in the level of ambition from Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) of the Agency’s countries of intervention. Expected outcomes of the assignment include the delivery of forecasted energy and emission balances for every country, in line with NDCs and with an increased, 2°C compatible scenario, as well as a set of supporting so-called Marginal Abatement Cost Curves (MACCs) for these countries.

The underlying data analysis and modelling work will be based on most recent data available from Enerdata’s databases and the newly updated EnerFuture scenarios up to 2050.
