Jinko ESS, the storage branch of Jinko Solar, has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with a Chinese partner to develop 1.1 GWh of electricity storage projects in the Shaanxi Province of China (PV Magazine, 17/04/2026).
Jinko ESS will provide diversified energy storage solutions for the projects, covering both large-scale ground-mounted power plants and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. These storage projects are expected to help the integration of renewables in power grids, in line with China's dual carbon goals (reaching a peak in CO2 emissions before 2030 and then achieving carbon neutrality by 2060).
