India’s Adani Group targets 10 GW of nuclear by 2035

The Indian conglomerate Adani Group, through its affiliate Adani Atomic Energy, is targeting 10 GW of nuclear capacity by 2035 (The Economic Times, 24/06/2026). The company has already identified land for the proposed nuclear projects, as it is accelerating investment across power generation, transmission, hydroelectricity and gas distribution. 

Adani Group is targeting 45 GW of capacity over the next five years, including through a partnership with Buthan’s Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC) to jointly develop 5 GW of hydropower projects.
