Webinar - COP28 countdown: Global Stocktake, an independent view

Climate action since COP21, and upcoming challenges.

With COP28 upon us, it is time for the conclusion of the first Global Stocktake (GST).

The GST is a collective exercise which Parties to the Paris Agreement, along with non-Party stakeholders, are required to undertake every five years. This initiative aims to look back and assess the global progress towards achieving the goals outlined in the Paris Agreement. The primary objectives of the GST are to provide a clear picture of the current status in terms of climate action and support, identify gaps, and provide solution pathways.

To complement the official process, Enerdata has been leveraging its expertise on energy and climate, its comprehensive energy and emissions databases, as well as its modelling capacities, to produce its own Independent Global Stocktake
