Wednesday, April 24th – 10:15 AM CET -  SIDE EVENT

We invite you to attend our collaborative event with ADEME on 24th April 2024, 10:15 to 11:45 ‘Mastering and reducing energy consumption’. This roundtable will aim at discoursing about the number one challenge that we face now: the transition to a decarbonised world.

Indeed, policies and regulations are created primarily to develop green solutions and accelerate decarbonisation. However, can we rely on them solely? The true impact of these initiatives will only be achieved if we also reduce consumption. Energy efficiency and energy sufficiency are both imperative to tackle the energy consumption trend.

Topics covered:

  • Current patterns and implications of energy consumption
  • potential outcomes of energy efficiency and sufficiency policies and initiatives via diverse experience
