Zelestra has sold to Promigas a portfolio of 1.4 GW of contracted solar and BESS capacity in Latin America and including more than 2.1 GW of projects under advanced development in Chile, Peru and Colombia (Zelestra press release, 05/12/2025). The company expects to transform itself into a “customer-centric, multi-technology leader, strategically focused primarily on Europe and the United States.” The deal is still subject to customary and regulatory approvals in Colombia and Peru.
