Venture Global (US) signs new LNG supply agreements with TotalEnergies and Vitol

US LNG developer Venture Global has announced the conclusion of two binding agreements with TotalEnergies and Vitol for the sale of additional LNG volumes (Venture Global press release, 12/05/2026).

  • Under a new binding agreement with TotalEnergies, Venture Global will supply approximately 0.85 Mt/year of LNG for a period of about five years, commencing in 2026.
  • Separately, Venture Global and Vitol have agreed to increase their existing five‑year binding LNG agreement from 1.5 Mt/year to 1.7 Mt/year, following the initial agreement announced in March 2026 (KEI 25/03/2026).

Both contracts will be supplied from Venture Global’s portfolio of LNG projects.

Venture Global is a major US LNG exporter, with over 100 Mt/year of LNG capacity in production, construction, or development. The company operates the Calcasieu PassPlaquemines LNG, and CP2 LNG projects along the Gulf of Mexico. Venture Global recently reached a final investment decision (FID) for the second phase of its 29 Mt/year CP2 LNG project and secured USD8.6bn in project financing (KEI, 17/03/2026).
