The US BESS project developer Bimergen Energy has entered a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Eos Energy to accelerate its pipeline of BESS projects in the United States towards financial close (Bimergen press release, 12/11/2025).
- The partnership aims to combine Bimergen’s expertise in project development with Eos’ proprietary Z3™ battery technology for long-duration energy storage to “reduce costs, mitigate risks and accelerate timelines.”
- The companies expect to start working on 1 GWh of late-stage projects in the ERCOT market (Texas, US) which are being prepared for project financing.
Bimergen’s has a pipeline of nearly 8 GWh across major US markets (ERCOT, MISO, PJM, and others) and project-level commitments adding US$250m which are partly funded in cash and in project-level equity commitment.
