ERM Dolphyn has partnered with Source Energie to develop a floating wind project in the Celtic Sea (United Kingdom) with a capacity of at least 1 GW to produce green hydrogen. The Dylan project, which could enter construction in 2027-2028, is located approximately 60 km off the Pembrokeshire coast, west of Milford Haven. The power plant capacity could be expanded to 2 GW at a later stage.
In addition, Simply Blue Group has unveiled a floating wind project, Nomadic Offshore Wind, off Northern Ireland (UK), with a capacity of up to 500 MW. The power project will supply energy to a renewable energy hub at the MJM Renewables site, Ballykelly. The renewable energy hub will include manufacturing facilities, hydrogen production, a data centre and other advanced research and development industries.
