Statera Energy obtains approval for a 500 MW BESS in Bedfordshire (UK) 

Statera Energy has secured planning approval for the Sundon Storage, a 500 MW/4 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) near the Sundon National Grid substation in Bedfordshire (United Kingdom). The project, part of the UK’s long-duration energy storage (LDES) scheme, is designed as an 8-hour system, totalling 4 GWh
