Spain's Grenergy plans to invest US$2.6bn on energy storage by 2026

The Spanish energy storage company Grenergy has announced a US$2.6bn investment plan for 2023-2026 aiming to promote energy storage within the energy sector. The company has renewed its brand to highlight its role as a key player in the energy storage industry by providing competitive and sustainable solar power 24/7. The company has a global portfolio surpassing 25 GWh of storage capacity and 15.6 GW of solar power, and is currently developing its flagship project, the 2 GW Oasis de Atacama solar PV project in Chile, which boasts 11 GWh of storage capacity and is expected to become a model to replicate in other markets across Latin America, the United States and Europe. 

Grenergy is a Spanish company created in 2007, specializing in clean energy generation. the company operates in eleven countries across Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom), North America (the United States), and Latam (Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Colombia).
