Saudi Aramco reached record output figures in 2016 (Saudi Arabia)

The state-held company Saudi Aramco published its 2016 Annual Review and reported a record output for 2016 standing at 13.5 Mboe/d while the produced crude oil reached 10.5 Mb/d (+2.94%). The crude oil exports figures totaled 7.67 Mb/d (+7.57%) and were mostly sent to the Asia-Pacific region, which made up 67% of the total. The company's crude oil and condensate reserves reached 260.8 Gboe.



Saudi Aramco's 2016 raw gas output reached 12 bscf/d (about 339 mcm/d) while the gas reserves figures stood at 298.7 trillion scf (around 8.4 bcm).



The company also unveiled its refining capacity, which reached 3.1 Mb/d (57% of the worldwide refining capacity according to the company figures).
