OPEC+ confirms no oil production increases for February–March 2026

The eight OPEC+ countries (Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman) reaffirmed their November 2025 decision to pause production increases for February and March 2026 due to seasonal factors (OPEC+ press release, 04/01/2026).

For February and March 2026, the target oil production levels for these countries are: Saudi Arabia (10.1 mb/d), Russia (9.6 mb/d), Iraq (4.3 mb/d), the UAE (3.4 mb/d), Kuwait (2.6 mb/d), Kazakhstan (1.6 mb/d), Algeria (971 kb/d), and Oman (811 kb/d). Production will remain unchanged throughout this period.

This follows OPEC+’s December 2025 announcement confirming that the 2 November 2025 decision to halt production increases would remain in effect for the first quarter of 2026.
