OMV Petrom has reached a final investment decision (FID) for its Gabare solar and storage project in Bulgaria, incorporating a 415 MW solar power plant and a 600 MWh BESS (OMV Petrom press release, 15/06/2026). The project is being developed by Dunav Solar Plant OOD, a 50:50 JV between OMV Petrom and Enery.
