Hithium has recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with KNESS Group to advance energy storage projects with a total planned capacity of 2 GWh over the next two years, focusing on the Ukraine market. The cooperation covers several BESS of different durations, including 6.25 MWh and 5 MWh systems, with around 400 MWh scheduled for delivery in Q1 2026.
Hithium seeks to adress the growing demand for long-duration energy storage in Eastern Europe, driven by the deployment of renewables. In 2025, the company signed a 2 GWh BESS supply agreement with Bulgarian EPC Solarpro. Combining Hithium's end-to-end capabilities with KNESS's local expertise, the two companies aim to provide reliable and efficient energy storage solutions for the region.
