Harmony secures funding from VC Triple Point for 3 GW of BESS in Germany

Harmony Energy has secured a financing facility from venture capital firm Triple Point to support the development of 3 GW of BESS assets in Germany as part of Harmony's wider German development pipeline. Over a period of three years the facility will fund a portfolio of late-stage projects spanning both transmission and distribution-level connections.

Triple Point has previously supported energy storage developers such as Noriker Power and Innova. Originally focused on onshore wind, UK-based Harmony Energy has delivered over 700 MW of operational battery storage capacity across 18 sites in several European countries (UK, Germany, France and Poland) and has a global pipeline of over 12 GW.
