Greenvolt Power has signed an agreement with BYD Energy Storage for the supply of battery systems for the 600 MW/2.4 GWh Siedlce BESS project in Poland (Greenvolt press release, 01/07/2026).
- The project will use BYD’s Haohan storage system and has already secured revenues through Poland’s capacity market mechanism.
- Construction is planned to start in the third quarter of 2026, with commercial operations expected by the end of 2027.
The agreement builds on existing cooperation between both companies, following previous contracts for the Turośń Kościelna and Nowa Wieś Ełcka projects, each with a capacity of 200 MW/800 MWh.
Greenvolt has a pipeline of 2.6 GW of BESS in Poland, alongside 238 MW of wind and 657 MW of solar, as part of a global portfolio of around 13 GW.
