Greenflash secures deal for over 10 GWh of BESS equipment (US)

US developer Greenflash Infrastructure has secured over 10 GWh of lithium-ion BESS equipment under safe-harbor provisions, aimed to supply data centers across the United States, amid surging demand. In addition to this, Greenflash currently holds over 1 GWh of ready-to-deploy battery capacity, with an additional 2 GWh scheduled for delivery in March 2026.

According to the company, the pairing of safe-harbored equipment position with readily deployable inventory is crucial, as many developers face delays amid booming demand. This strategy should maintain flexibility to participate in available investment tax credit (ITC) frameworks, subject to eligibility, final regulatory guidance and project-specific conditions, and improve reliability and operational flexibility through integrated storage deployment.
