ExxonMobil Guyana, a subsidiary of the US oil and gas giant ExxonMobil, has announced the arrival of the ONE GUYANA Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel to the Stabroek block offshore Guyana. The vessel constitutes the fourth floating oil facility in the Guyanese block (joining the Destiny, Unity and Prosperity FPSOs), and is expected to operate in the Yellowtail development with initial production capacity of 250 kb/d and an overall storage volume of around 2 mbl. The Yellowtail project is expected to commence later in 2025 following completion of installation and well activities, bringing the company’s daily production capacity to approximately 900,000 bbl/d.
ExxonMobil Guyana Limited is operator of the Stabroek block and holds 45% of its interest in partnership with Hess Guyana Exploration (30%), and CNOOC Petroleum Guyana Limited (25%). In February 2025, the consortium announced its “Wales Gas Vision” project to increase natural gas output and supply in Guyana to fuel onshore power and petrochemical projects through a US$1bn pipeline completed in 2024.
