Everfuel submits proposal for a 2 GW green hydrogen facility in Denmark

The Norwegian electrolyser production company Everfuel has submitted a project proposal to develop up to 2 GW green hydrogen production capacity at the Revsing Energy Park under development by the municipality of Vejen, Denmark. The company has secured land for the built-out of Frigg and is now continuing development and feasibility work to secure access to the available infrastructure for the project. The proposed Frigg facility would be near the Revsing transformer station and within the “Lower T” area (the intersection between the North-South and East-West hydrogen backbone), which is expected to be the first section to be built and operational by 2028.

Frigg is planned to be developed in phases to a total electrolyser capacity of up to 2 GW, with potential direct connection to renewable energy production by Everfuel or partners, as well as integration with local district heating. In May 2024, the company announced a Letter of Intent with an undisclosed German industrial customer for initial supply of up to 10 kt/year of green hydrogen.
