Envision Energy advances 451 MWh of BESS projects across the UK and Germany

Envision Energy has announced a partnership with Pulse Clean Energy to develop a 129 MW/310 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, United Kingdom.

“Originally designed as a two-hour system, the project has been optimized by Envision Energy to achieve 2.4 hours of storage duration, demonstrating the adaptability and performance of its AI-powered Future Energy Systems and Gen 7 BESS platform”, stated the company.

In addition, Envision Energy has entered into a partnership with ju to deploy its first Gen 8 BESS projects in Germany, with a combined capacity of 140.6 MWh.

The agreement includes two projects: S10, an 88.4 MWh facility located in Baindt, southern Germany, and S15, a 52.2 MWh project in Schöningen, northern Germany. Both installations will feature four-hour storage duration.

Envision Energy continues to expand its footprint in Germany, following the recent announcement of another partnership with Elements Green to develop the 400 MW/1.6 GWh Stadorf BESS project in Lower Saxony (KEI, 02/07/2026).
