The British project developer Elements Green has announced plans to invest €2bn (US$2.3bn) in German battery storage projects by the end of 2028. According to the company, the eight projects represent a combined capacity of around 3.2 GW and have all secured grid connection commitments from transmission system operators. The projects are thus expected to be ready for construction in the first quarter of 2026 and connected to the grid in 2027.
Active in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia, Elements Green develops large-scale solar, battery storage, and hybrid projects. The company estimates its global project pipeline at over 13 GW.
