DT Midstream acquires three natural gas pipelines in the US Midwest for US$1.2bn

The US gas pipeline company DT Midstream has reached an agreement to acquire a portfolio of three federally regulated gas transmission pipelines in the United Staes from ONEOK for US$1.2bn. The gas pipelines have a total capacity of more than 3.7 bcf/d (105 mcm/d) with approximately 2,100 km across seven states in the Midwest market region. Under the terms of the agreement, DT Midstream will acquire 100% operating ownership of the 420 km Guardian Pipeline, the 645 km bi-directional interstate Midwestern Gas Transmission pipeline and the 1,100 km interstate Viking Gas Transmission pipeline that connects with the Canadian supply at Emerson, Manitoba (Canadaà.
