Delta Capacity, a Swiss-based developer and owner of utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), has signed a framework agreement with China’s Sungrow for the supply of 1 GWh of the Chinese company’s PowerTitan 2.0 energy storage solution (Sungrow press release, 06/03/2026).
- PowerTitan 2.0 is an advanced liquid-cooled BESS developed by Sungrow, integrating a 2.5 MW inverter and 5 MWh batteries in a single container for utility-scale applications.
Delta Capacity stated that the supplied energy storage technology will be deployed in projects planned for 2026 across Europe.
Delta Capacity is developing and acquiring projects across multiple European geographies, focusing on Scandinavia, Germany, Southern Europe, and Central Europe. The company currently has nearly 800 MWh under construction and targets the build-out, commissioning, and operation of more than 6 GWh of flexible assets by 2030.
