CWP and Mercuria partner to develop 2 GW of renewables in Southeast Europe
The renewable developer CWP and Mercuria Energy Trading, a Swiss commodity trader, have joined forces to develop CWP’s project portfolio in Southeast Europe, which includes more than 2 GW of large-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects in Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania and Ukraine. CWP has already developed the 156 MW Čibuk wind project in Serbia and the 600 MW Fântânele-Cogealac wind project in Romania. CWP has more than 760 MW of capacity in Australia, with another 2.5 GW of wind, solar, and storage under development in a joint venture with Partners Group.
