ConocoPhillips submits PDO for an oil project in the Norwegian North Sea

ConocoPhillips, the operator of the Greater Ekofisk Area together with its license partners, has submitted a NOK10.5bn (€1bn) plan for development and operation (PDO) for the Eldfisk North Project to the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. The Eldfisk North Project is targeting additional resources in the Eldfisk Field. The development concept includes 14 wells, where nine are producers and five are water injectors; the Eldfisk North field would be tied back to the Eldfisk Complex in the North Sea. Resource potential is estimated to be in the range of 50-90 Mboe and first oil is expected in 2024.  

ConocoPhillips is the operator of the Eldfisk Field in PL 018 with a 35.112% ownership interest, in partnership with TotalEnergies (39.896 %), Vår Energi(12.388 %), Equinor (7.604 %) and Petoro (5%).
