Doral Renewables has selected Bechtel to deliver three phases of its 1.3 GW Mammoth solar project in the US state of Indiana. Bechtel is expected to design, engineer, and construct Mammoth South, Mammoth Central I, and Mammoth Central II, with a combined solar capacity of 900 MW. Both companies started construction preparatory works in early 2025, and the project is expected to be completed by 2027, when Doral plans to implement agrivoltaics initiatives including on-site livestock to enable local landowners to continue farming operations and maximize land use.
Doral Renewables is a US-based developer, owner, and operator of renewable energy assets throughout the United States. Its solar and storage development portfolio comprises nearly 18 GW, which includes 400 MW currently in operation and 950 MW under construction.
