Beacon Offshore Energy has started oil and natural gas production at its Shenandoah field, located off the coast of Louisiana (United States). The Shenandoah floating production system (FPS) has a nameplate capacity of 120 kb/d and 4 mcm/d, and is expected to increase production of its first phase wells during the third quarter of 2025 to deliver about 100 kb/d.
The Shenandoah project should enable the development of other projects of the company which altogether are expected to hold recoverable resources of nearly 600 Mboe. The Shenandoah South project, with estimated 2P resources of 74 Mboe includes the drilling and completion of two additional producing wells in the second quarter of 2028.
