Argent LNG starts EPC partner review for 25 Mt/year LNG project in Louisiana (US)

Argent LNG, an independent US-based LNG developer, has started a comprehensive evaluation of potential EPC partners in preparation for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) pre-filing and permitting process for its 25 Mt/year LNG export project in Port Fourchon, Louisiana (United States).

Argent LNG plans to formally launch the FERC pre-filing process in the coming months,  although dredging permits have already been obtained. The company aims to begin construction of the first 12 Mt/year phase in 2026 and start operations in 2030.
