Apraava Energy secures two power transmission projects in Rajasthan (India)

India’s Apraava Energy has been awarded two interstate transmission projects by Power Finance Corporation under the country’s tariff based competitive bidding process, which will allow the evacuation of 40 GW of power from renewable energy zones in the Indian State of Rajasthan.

The Fatehgarh III transmission project comprises a 230 km, 400 kV direct current power line. It will link the Fatehgarh 3 and Badla 3 projects and be able to evacuate 20 GW of power from the renewable energy zone in Rajasthan under Phase-III, Part A1. The Fatehgarh IV transmission project includes a 5×500 MVA pooling substation to support the transmission network and a 22 km, 400 kV direct current transmission line connecting Fatehgarh 4 to Fatehgarh 3, to evacuate another 20 GW of power from the zone.
