ADNOC (UAE) signs LNG supply deals with China’s ENN, CNOOC and Zhenhua Oil

The Emirati gas group ADNOC has signed three separate LNG supply agreements with three Chinese companies, namely ENN, CNOOC and Zhenhua Oil. Under a 15-year sale and purchase agreement (SPA) signed with ENN LNG, a subsidiary of ENN Natural Gas, ADNOC will provide about 1 Mt/year of LNG to the Chinese company starting in 2028. The volumes will primarily be sourced from ADNOC’s 9.6 Mt/year Ruwais LNG project in the UAE.

In addition, ADNOC signed an agreement with CNOOC under which it will supply 0.5 Mt/year of LNG to the Chinese oil and gas company for a period of 5 years, starting in 2026. Finally, ADNOC signed another 5-year deal with China’s Zhenhua Oil, for an expected volume of 12 cargoes of LNG (about 780 kt of LNG), also starting in 2026. The LNG will be delivered to the Rudong LNG terminal, currently being built by Zhenhua Oil and expected for commissioning in 2026.
