Edify Energy's solar and battery storage projects in Queensland (Australia) have recently progressed. The company has appointed DT Infrastructure as the preferred EPC contractor for the two following hybrid projects, with a combined capacity of 1.1 GW of solar and 900 MW/3.6 GWh of battery storage:
- Smoky Creek and Guthrie’s Gap: 720 MW of solar generation, plus 600 MW/2,400 MWh of battery storage,
- Ganymirra & Majors Creek: 360 MW of solar generation, plus 300 MW/1,200 MWh of battery storage.
Early pre-construction and design activities are continuing across the first two project sites, with construction scheduled to commence during the first and second quarters of 2026.
Meanwhile, Flow Power has announced the acquisition of the Dunedoo Energy Project in New South Wales (Australia), combining 55 MW of solar generation and 60 MW of battery storage. The project, previously owned by Ib vogt, comes with approved development consent, and is scheduled for 2026.
