Enerdata teams up with Citec and renowned experts of the energy and transport sectors (including Patrick Criqui, Yves Crozet) to analyse measures helping decarbonise the transport sector. The study will involve the development of a methodology base on abatement costs and provide scenarios compatible with a carbon neutrality objective. Several steps are foreseen: a literature review on abatement costs, interviews of international and local stakeholders, the development of a methodology and a tool focusing on abatement costs in the transport sector, and eventually the modelling of decarbonation scenarios through abatement cost curves. The study is expected to run over May 2022 - February 2023.
