Enerdata supports local associations

At the end of 2020, in order to concretely show Enerdata's commitment to society during a very difficult time, Management decided to donate €10,000 to associations and charities. In March 2021, a call for applications supported by the company's employees was organised in order to select projects and/or associations meeting certain eligibility criteria. One of the main criteria was the consistency of the project with Enerdata's recently defined raison d'être, which is related to the fight against climate change. Four candidate projects were thus selected, and the distribution of the donation was submitted to the employees' votes.

The selected associations and projects are:

  • The 2021 Energy Poverty project of the Grenoble branch of the Low Tech Lab, which aims to design and test a series of low-tech manufacturing workshops for the public in situations of energy poverty, in order to save energy and water in the home. More information about Low Tech Lab (in French) and on Facebook.
  • The Isère branch of the France Nature Environnement (FNE) association, for its general action to preserve and raise awareness of the fight against all forms of pollution and degradation of habitats and species.
  • The SOLENI scheme of the integration company Ulisse Energie, based in Grenoble, for its energy management support service for households in precarious situations.
  • The négaWatt association, as part of its participatory financing campaign supporting the publication of the next national energy-climate scenario 2022.

Enerdata is very pleased to support these associations. Meetings between the actors concerned and Enerdata employees could be organised to exchange on the associations' actions.
