Enerdata to join the United Nations Global Compact

We are pleased to announce that Enerdata has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

Thus, we are now part of an initiative with almost 22,000 entities, in over 160 countries, committed to taking responsible business action to move forward to a sustainable and caring world for all human beings. In France, more than 1,600 companies are part of this journey, representing more than 60% of SMEs.

Companies joining UN Global Compact are committed to align their operations and strategies following ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Enerdata has already deployed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and Global Compact initiative helps us to align local impactful actions with global sustainability commitments. In particular, we have taken strong actions in the environmental area with a renewable electricity supply agreement and reduction of our energy expenses at our office.

We wanted to commit our CSR strategy to a strong and internationally recognised goal. The ten principles of the UN Global Compact and the 17 SDGs were perfectly aligned with our vision and strategy, so we are glad to join them and to support this initiative” said Pascal CHARRIAU, CEO at Enerdata.
