RWE is considering selling its stake in a Turkish CCGT power plant
RWE is considering selling its 70% interest in its 775 MW (797 MW gross) CCGT power plant in Honaz, in the Denizli region of Turkey, if potential buyers express interest in the power plant. The CCGT power plant is owned by RWE & Turcas Güney Elektrik Üretim, a joint venture of RWE (70%) and Turcas Petrol (30%). It started commercial operations in August 2013 and accounts for around 1.2% of the total power generation in Turkey.
