Dominion Energy Virginia (US) seeks 500 MW of solar power capacity

Dominion Energy Virginia (part of the US Dominion Energy group) has issued a Request for Proposals (RfP) for up to 500 MW of solar power capacity in both 2021 and 2022; the solar RfP is seeking bids for solar projects of at least 5 MWac and located in Virginia (United States). The proposals can be for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and/or the purchase of development projects. 

The company aims to have 3 GW of solar and wind capacity in operation or under development in Virginia by 2022 and to reduce its CO2 emissions by 80% by 2050 across the 18 states it serves.
