Enerdata is developing and updating the Datamed database for the exclusive use of ADEME. This database aims at explaining the determinants of the energy consumption in France.

Enerdata has a unique knowledge of the energy consumption in the French market. Datamed is aimed at explaining the factors behind the variations of consumption and at calculating energy savings by sector (industry, residential, service, transport), end-use, mode of transportation in France.
This database includes:

French energy and economic data since 1970

Data on the determinant of the consumptions
  • GDP
  • value added by branches with current and constant price
  • physical production by product
  • consumption by industrial branches and energy
  • consumption by end-use, by type of dwelling for the residential sector
  • stock of dwellings and equipment of households
  • consumption of the various categories of vehicles
  • stocks and traffic by mode of transport and types of vehicles
  • consumption by branches / types of building for the service sector
