12 January 2017 - Norwegian gas exports by pipeline remained stable in 2016

According to Norwegian gas transmission network operator Gassco, Norway exported a total of 108.56 bcm of gas through pipelines, from the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) to terminals in Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. This is a 0.1% increase over 2015 and a new record for Norwegian gas exports.

In addition, deliveries of natural gas liquids (NGL) and condensate from the Gassco-operated process plants at Kårstø and Kollsnes (via Vestprosess) in western Norway also rose in 2016, from 9.6 Mt in 2015 to 10 Mt in 2016.
