Enerdata is hosting a conference on energy demand modelling and CO2 policies on the 10th of October 2012

Seoul (Korea)/Grenoble (France) - October 04, 2012 - Enerdata will host a conference together with partner EasyM Technology and Consulting at the Grand Hotel Intercontinental in Korea.

The conference will give policy makers, energy firms, equipment manufacturers and researchers the opportunity to reflect on the future of the global energy market and to examine how energy policies and efficiency measures can be properly monitored to improve the reliability of energy predictions.

We give our new found partner EasyM Technology & Consulting the pleasure of opening the conference. Their CEO, Mr. Choi, will give a short introduction on his experience developing international strategies for South Korean/ French organisations in the energy industry. His strategic relations combined with Enerdata's 30 years of experience in the field of energy modelling and forecasting has given rise to a valuable collaboration and has allowed us to share our energy expertise further afield.

Enerdata's CEO, Mr. Château, will then give you an insight into the long-term prospects of the global energy market focusing on the future perspectives of unconventional fuels. He will continue with an explanation on how to set-up efficient monitoring of energy policies and efficiency measures, which commences with determining the correct indicators to measure energy efficiency nation-wide.

The afternoon will set off with a conference on climate change mitigate and carbon markets. Mr. Château will reveal the energy toolbox of measures to fight against climate change, presenting the different Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) possible and their effectiveness.

The conference will end with a Q&A session on the challenges of forecasting at a country level and the hot topic of debate, namely climate change policies.

It is with great pleasure that we look forward to hosting this conference with EasyM Technology & Consulting on the 10th of October in Korea.
